Lewes Road Inn Gig

Lewes Road Inn Gig

Played the Lewes Road Inn last Saturday. Great gig. Really nice to play again after an eighteen month break. It was great to have Rod up on stage playing with us as our new bass guitarist. He says he hasn’t played live for years. It didn’t show, as he did a really good job. He’s had the hard part, which is learning a whole load of knew songs and fitting with an already established line up. I thought he smashed it. It was also lovely to playin front of a friendly home crowd and the Lewes Road Inn always puts on a good show. Jack and the rest of the team made it easy and welcoming. I enjoyed seeing a lot of friendly faces and it seems that everyone had a good time. Although only a 30 minute set, you got to hear 6 songs from our new album and some of my current favourites, Lockdown, Georgie Best, She’s a Riot. And of course a couple of oldies, Let’s Party, Nice Guys. Although I did get asked at the end why we didn’t play Paper Cuts. You can’t fit them all in. Next time. Rod start learning Paper Cuts. At the moment I’m trying to make a video for Georgie Best, which if I manage it, will be our first single. I reckon we’re talking about some time in January. Anyway thanks to everyone who came down to see us, you made it a really fun night.
