Great fun gig at the Star yesterday Really receptive crowd, who sang and danced along and gave us a great response. I also thought the set up by the venue was good, so even though there was no time for a sound check, we sounded pretty good. Played seven songs, smashing into the set with Taking the Knee and ending with the crowd fave Let’s Party. Strange thing, the pub ran out of beer. Never had that before, although I’m not sure it was anything to do with us. Also there were Arsenal fans everywhere, as they were celebrating having won the league! This was part of the Far East Festival, and it was good to see lots of small bands. I’d love to play in London again as when we do, audiences seem to appreciate us. I do find it difficult to find the right venues, so if anyone out there has got any suggestions let me know.
Currently trying to make a video for our second single off the new album. I think it’ll be Lockdown. So watch out for that. Then I need to write some more songs.
